In order to prepare for First Holy Communion in the spring, children must first successfully prepare for and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
In order to prepare for First Holy Communion in the spring, children must first successfully prepare for and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The immediate preparation for the celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion is done within the family home, with ongoing support from the parish staff and parish catechists. Second graders (and older children who have not received the Sacrament must attend a year of classes that will assist them in preparing their children for First Holy Communion. Workbooks are required to be finished no later than May 8, 2021. According to Archdiocesan guidelines, children preparing to celebrate their First Holy Communion must be enrolled in either a Catholic school or the parish’s religious education, Generations of Faith both during the year of preparation as well as the year immediately prior to preparation. |
Registraciones de Agosto a Septiembre UNICAMENTE NO Habrá EXCEPCIONES!! 1. Llenar forma de registración, bájela del sitio de internet, 2. copia del acta de bautizo del niñ@ (no originales). 3. $30 de donación por el curso, no cobramos el sacramento. 4. Deposite TODO en un sobre cerrado en el buzón parroquial, antes del 30 de Septiembre a las 12 PM. · Tenemos clases de Catecismo desde kínder, pero solo los niños de 2do grado en adelante pueden celebrar su primera comunión. Las clases serán virtuales pero no menos importantes. · 20 horas de Estudio bíblico para los padres en la plataforma de FORMED. Baje la aplicación es GRATIS para usted, la Iglesia la esta pagando. · Niños deben saber sus oraciones, comience con el credo, (las oraciones se encuentran disponibles en nuestro sitio de internet, para que comiencen a estudiar ). · No pueden faltar a más de 2 clases durante el curso. · No faltar a Misa los domingos. Las misas virtuales , o proyectadas cuentan. · Comienzo de clases, el Jueves 1 de Octubre @ 5 PM (solo con los estudiantes PREVIAMENTE registrados) · Fecha tentativa de 1ras comuniones , Mayo 8 2021 · Habrán cambios durante el transcurso del año, con motivo COVID-19. |
