Parish Roof Project second collection is beyond the regular Sunday collection that is needed to pay annual operating expenses.
At this time, the estimated cost to do the roof replacement is $280,000-$300,000.
we are grateful too all of you beyond your generosity.
As a parish we have 413 registered households. If every household could make a $ 730 gift, then we would reach and surpass our goal. I realize that for some this dollar figure will be a stretch, but others can do this and more. The key is everyone’s participation at a level of their own personal generosity. 

In the event we do not reach our goal, or costs exceed funds raised, then we will need to explore the possibility of a loan. I encourage you to do what you can as an act of thanksgiving for the many blessings you have received from God to now help preserve our church building for generations to come.

​Donations to this project can be made by placing a plain envelope in the Sunday 2nd collection or by mailing it to the parish office. All checks should be payable to “St. Mary of the Valley.” Any and all gifts to this special appeal are much appreciated, and I hope that you can help to invite others with family ties to St. Mary of the Valley who may have moved away to learn more about the church roof project and consider supporting it.
Just like the founding families who have gone before us and built what we enjoy today, I believe that together we can do this!

​La segunda colecta del Proyecto Techo de la Parroquia va más allá de la colecta regular del domingo que se necesita para pagar los gastos operativos anuales.
En este momento, el costo estimado para reemplazar el techo es de $280,000 a $300,000.
También les agradecemos a todos ustedes más allá de su generosidad.
Como parroquia, tenemos 413 hogares registrados. Si cada hogar pudiera hacer una donación de $730, entonces alcanzaríamos y superaríamos nuestra meta. Me doy cuenta de que para algunos esta cifra en dólares será un poco exagerada, pero otros pueden hacer esto y más. La clave es la participación de todos a un nivel de su propia generosidad personal.

En caso de que no alcancemos nuestra meta, o los costos excedan los fondos recaudados, entonces necesitaremos explorar la posibilidad de un préstamo. Los animo a hacer lo que puedan como un acto de agradecimiento por las muchas bendiciones que han recibido de Dios para ayudar ahora a preservar el edificio de nuestra iglesia para las generaciones venideras.

Las donaciones para este proyecto se pueden hacer colocando un sobre simple en la segunda colecta del domingo o enviándolo por correo a la oficina parroquial. Todos los cheques deben ser pagaderos a “St. Mary of the Valley”. Se agradecen mucho todas las donaciones para esta campaña especial y espero que pueda ayudar a invitar a otras personas con vínculos familiares con St. Mary of the Valley que se hayan mudado a otra parte para que aprendan más sobre el proyecto del techo de la iglesia y consideren apoyarlo.
Al igual que las familias fundadoras que nos precedieron y construyeron lo que disfrutamos hoy, creo que juntos podemos lograrlo.
